F2 MAST
After finishing our new sail lines, we chose to use only the best masttechnology to complete our sail range. F2 offers the latest shapes in mast technology with reduced diameter (RDM), or in a classic design standard diameter (SDM). In addition, we used polyamide - which is 60 times more resistant to abrasion than bare carbon - to reinforce our booms.
The coating is printed very extensive in new race optic from below. Depending on length and Carbon rate - we cover all performance levels, so the character of each rig can always be adjusted to the Surfer. Together with or new F2 sail range, we offer a minimal concept with best performance.
Our brand new F2 Checker is our ultimate Kids Sail, equipped with 3 Sailbattens, Dacron Sailcloth, durable monofilm and a cool design. It was important to us that Kids can handle the sail easily, already while rigging, so that the fun already begins at the beach.
Its absolutely easy to pull it off the water and it expands an even - easy to control - force. The Checker in sizes 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 come with a two-part thin Epoxymast, matching vario boom, mast foot adapter, line set and Sail sleeve. Sizes 1.5 and 2.5 are supplied with an Alumast, matching boom, mast foot adapter, line set and Sail sleeve.

In order to support the growth and development of the Techno 293 OD and Hybrid classes, BIC Windsurf developed the One Design Rig package for use specifically by youth sailors on hybrid boards. This rig package has been designed to be raced in the widest wind range possible, representing the best possible compromise between light wind pumping performance and high wind planing performance. The key features of these rigs include:
A huge wind range: from 6 to 30 knots. By tuning the downhaul and outhaul, the sail can be rigged either very full with a tight leech, or very flat with an open leech.
A draft placement at approx. 40% from the front of the sail (freeride sails = 30% / sub-planing sails = 50%), offering the best compromise between lightwind performance and high wind control.
6 batten / 2 cam configuration for the best compromise between weight and performance.
A very stable profile for ease of use and control in the high winds.
A tack strap tensioner for maximum tuning range and power in light winds.

Completely over engineered as surf center managers and instructors think and refer to the basic physical requirements.
